Dr. Permjit Singh has over 14 years of varied corporate treasury experience, including securitisation and is a Fellow of the UK Assiociation of Corporate Treasurers.

After graduating from the University of Warwick in Biochemistry, he went on to obtain his Diploma in Treasury Management from the UK Association of Corporate Treasurers, and a Ph.D. from the University of Reading in Asset Securitisation. He has since written and published “The City and Global Financial Services”, and “Yoga plus Exercise” (he was a yoga instructor until Covid struck). He is a qualified teacher and visiting university lecturer (courses he has taught include: international finance, and bank financial management). Singh has authored and published many articles on finance, in several magazines and journals, including the Association of Corporate Treasurers' Handbook and the Treasurer Magazine.
As the Head of Treasury, and later a Treasury Consultant, he has developed a wide skill set including establishing and managing a $0.5 billion debt finance facility, administering an asset securitisation RMBS transaction, running a Treasury department and team, assisting clients with installation of a treasury management system, daily cash management, Treasury dealing, and accounting. He was an independent commercial finance broker and member of the NACFB with a consumer credit licence, and set up, ran, and sold an SME. He arranged, issued, administered, and redeemed a publicly-issued bond for a client property developer, and acted as Standby Servicer and Agent.
