Financial Modeling - Private Equity / Debt Research Analyst

A leading Private Equity company based in the UK is looking for experienced Financial Modelling Analyst to assist them in the coming months. At this stage the project is still at proposal stage and we are allowing advisors to register their interest in the project. 

Candidates should have experience working with Tier1 Investment Banks in Research or Investment Banking departments 

The core scope of the project will include: 

new model building for existing fund investments, or (2) model review for clients of the clients affiliated asset-based lending platform 

The core responsibilities of the project may include: 

• detailed review of client model to check the integrity and logic of integration between P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet 

• highlight inconsistencies, errors or higher risk areas with the deal team 

• reconcile historic financial information presented in the model to statutory accounts 

• identify model drivers and appropriate financial and operational KPI’s 

• validate the client’s approach to forecasting, rolling forward KPI’s and key financial metrics to ensure model outputs are consistent with expectations  

• populate internal headroom and ROE models with client model outputs 

• update / overlay client models as appropriate in order to facilitate effective sensitivity and scenario analysis 

• assist the deal team with the modelling and simulation of a proposed suite of financial and operational covenants 

The project has the ability to be conducted remotely and s outside of IR35.
